Abstrak

Artikel ini menyajikan sebuah deskripsi kualitatif-analitis tentang perobahan dalam pengalaman spiritual dan religiositas individu di era digital, dengan fokus pada preferensi spiritual yang muncul sebagai respons terhadap perkembangan teknologi dan budaya modern. Digital natives mengalami transformasi dalam bagaimana mereka terhubung dengan spiritualitas, yang kini lebih bersifat personal dan fleksibel. Fenomena the nones di Eropa dan Amerika menunjukkan bahwa sebagian individu tidak lagi mengidentifikasi diri dengan identitas keberagamaan formal, meskipun tetap memiliki praktik spiritual yang kuat. Artikel ini menyoroti peran teknologi digital, seperti media sosial dan platform online, dalam memperluas akses individu terhadap pengalaman spiritual dan komunitas virtual. Dengan demikian, ada peluang bagi misi pastoral Gereja untuk beradaptasi dan menjangkau dunia digital dengan pendekatan yang lebih inklusif dan adaptif. Penguatan fokus pada kesejahteraan spiritual dan keterlibatan dalam isu sosial mencerminkan bahwa spiritualitas di era digital tidak lagi terbatas hanya pada praktik ritual, tetapi juga mencakup kontribusi nyata terhadap perubahan sosial.
