Abstrak

Since the apostles’ time until today, Christian missions have always faced various

challenges due to ongoing changes. This paper will analyze Matthew 28:16-20, which

contains Jesus’ command to make disciples of all nations, baptize them, and teach

them everything He has taught. This command, known as the Great Commission, has

become the foundation for Christian missions around the world. In the ongoing era of

the digital revolution, new challenges and opportunities arise in the effort to implement

the Great Commission. Therefore, it is important for the church to think of new steps and

approaches to reach out to the public to become more digitally connected. In this context,

the author will use a descriptive approach to analyze the prophetic dialogue model

developed by Stephen B. Bevans and Roger P. Schroeder. This model provides insights

into how churches can create spaces for more inclusive and relevant communication.

Furthermore, this paper will discuss the importance of realizing Christian mission in the

midst of human life that has undergone many changes, especially through the emergence

of various social media platforms. By utilizing the prophetic dialogue model and social

media platforms, the church can ensure that the Gospel message remains relevant and

can reach the entire nation, answering the challenges of the times and fulfilling the call

of Christian mission in this digital era.
