This article provides a qualitative and analytical reconstruction of the changes in individuals' spiritual experience and religiosity in relation to newer mediums while also analyzing spiritual tendencies arising from the intertwining of contemporary trends and technological progress. Digital natives change their submissiveness towards spirituality: it becomes – and indeed must be – much more subjective and fluid than in previous contexts. The Nones’ trend, which has increasing visibility in Europe and America, emphasizes that some do not formally belong to religious institutions but are nevertheless highly spiritual. In the paper, the authors explain the role of social networks and other online platforms in enhancing contact with the spiritual dimension and community of believers via the Internet. Therefore, this is a unique opportunity for the Church’s pastoral engagement to penetrate a relatively expansive and broader digital space. The high demand for spiritual fulfillment and active engagement in social issues proves that in the digital context, the practice of spirituality goes beyond ritualistic practices but instead includes active engagement for social change.
