Artikel ini mengeksplorasi pengaruh kekristenan terhadap budaya Eropa melalui pendekatan historis, dengan fokus pada dampaknya yang tercermin dalam media kontemporer, khususnya dalam Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hubungan antara sejarah agama Eropa dan penggambaran beberapa karakter dalam MCU, dengan perhatian khusus pada film Thor: Love and Thunder. Seperti banyak film Hollywood lainnya, MCU mengandung referensi dan pesan tersembunyi yang sering tidak disadari oleh penonton. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MCU secara implisit menggambarkan elemen-elemen sejarah budaya Eropa melalui karakter-karakter kunci, mencerminkan interpretasi yang menggabungkan pemahaman sejarah agama dengan sinkretisme yang menjadi ciri perjuangan dan kebangkitan budaya Eropa.
