Publication Ethics

For Author(s):

  • Authors must ensure the creation of original works;
  • Manuscripts identified with plagiarism issues will be automatically rejected, and authors will be duly informed;
  • Authors are prohibited from concurrently submitting the same manuscript to multiple journals or publications.
  • Upon submitting a manuscript for potential publication, authors must refrain from submitting the identical manuscript to any other journal simultaneously.

For Editor(s):

  • The Editorial Board of journal Collecta bears the responsibility of detecting and preventing the publication of manuscripts involving research misconduct, such as plagiarism;
  • The Editorial Board of journal Collecta ensures that the evaluation of submitted manuscripts is grounded in the intellectual content, free from any form of discrimination related to gender, ethnicity, citizenship, religion, etc.;
  • The Editorial Board of journal Collecta is obligated to assess manuscripts based on their substantive content;

For Reviewer(s):

  • Review comments must demonstrate respect for the author(s). Reviewers are required to substantiate their decisions and recommendations;
  • Reviewers are strictly forbidden from sharing or discussing the manuscript with unauthorized individuals, except with explicit permission from the editor;
  • Reviewers should identify pertinent articles from journals that have not been cited by the author(s);
  • Reviewers aid the editor in making editorial decisions and, through communication with the author, contribute to enhancing the manuscript;
  • Reviewers are expected to bring to the editor's attention any significant similarities or overlaps between the manuscript under consideration and any previously published work of which they have personal knowledge;
  • Confidential information or insights obtained during the peer review process must be held in strict confidence and should not be exploited for personal gain;
  • Reviewers should abstain from evaluating manuscripts in cases where conflicts of interest arise due to competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with any author(s), companies, or institution(s) associated with the manuscript.
